The Heidelberg Project

The Heidelberg Project is an outdoor art installation project that started when the local artist Tyree Guyton returned to his ancestral home in 1986 and saw the entire area in a dilapidated state. As someone who believed art to be a therapy, The Heidelberg Project expanded to encompass houses, abandoned sidewalks, old trees into one giant installation in the city.
